Μythimna ( Molyvos )

    A plethora of cultural activities take place during summer ( July-August ) at the majestic Castle of the town or at the picturesque port, organized by the Municipality 

Petra 

     Interesting fete on the 15th of August to the honor of Virgin Mary's Assumption takes place at the homonymous church and at the coastal area of the village with local music, dances, food and drink. Also the Festival of Trata ( trawl boat ) is celebrated during the first week of August with local music, fish-snacks and local drink ouzo.
